Well, their loss is certainly our gain.Beggars belief how a club like the dogs can afford to lose someone as good as macrae.
Very very bizarre.
If we can get at least three good years from him it’ll be terrific.

The doggies list management from at least our outside eyes has been odd (although having Bont and Libba can make it easier)Beggars belief how a club like the dogs can afford to lose someone as good as macrae.

They wanted to get games into Sanders and Richards. They recognised McCrae was too good to be left out so played him half forward.I guess they want to peak when Darcy and JUH are peaking so pumping games into kids.
Ima thinking jack Carroll might get an opportunity firstNar, Box for Clark is the easy one. With Coops and Henry likely, there'll be some reshuffling.

They saved something like 500k a season trading him out and Kennedy in.
I can understand it. We are fond of long time players like him ( or Membrey in our case) but the team list and balance needs to move on.
Win win for both clubs in my opinion.

I have noticed that when Hammer plays back, he has a very attacking style. Seen him a few times, mark the ball and then immediate sprint through and start the charge back forward. Makes sense since he is an offensive player, but I like the energy.Said it last year but Hammer reminds me a lot of Balta. He's obviously not got the class of Battle but with his height and pace he might offer something different to Josh going forward. He was on Neale who is one of the better upcoming talks in the comp. Really excited to see how he can build on this game, he won't always be perfect but he has a future as a backman in my opinion and if he can perform at that level consistently he could significantly shift our future prospects.
With the luxury of a full list to pick from for round 1 (like the Crows had), our forward six could've been -The Port practice match has no bearing on the season.
Granted the Crows match was awful.
When we are 0-8 ask “where to from here”.
One match in? No. It was shock jock “journalism.”
But they're in the window whilst the Bont is there. That's before you look at the age of players like naughton.
The rest aren't great in terms of younger mids. Kennedy ain't much chop. Otherwise why did the blues get rid of him.
Also if they've saved 500k with Kennedy there are we saying Macrae was on 900+k a year. As I imagine Kennedy wasn't exactly playing below the medium AFL salary?
It doesn't make sense at all to me.
The only way this makes sense is if the dogs thought he was done. Which he clearly isn't.
Biggest waste of a list I've seen. On par with Melbourne. What makes it even more odd is Daniel tearing it up and getting things going for Norf right now. Similar to McRae with us, he’s slotted right into their lineup.
Surely the pressures on Bevo after absolutely mincing this squad
There was a stat last week that we had more Bulldogs 2016 Premiership players in our team than the Bulldogs did (Cordy and Macrae for us vs Liberatore for the Dogs).
The speed at which the Bulldogs turned over that entire list after the premiership - a premiership team that was quite young too - has always been mind blowing to me.
Ebbs and Tides , Higgo's free was not there either
Always knew the trainee receptionist had an eye for footballing talent!I’m not going to say who it was.
But pre game yesterday. A very prominent person at the club called him a bigger talent than both Pou & King.
How’s that for a wrap on Tauru.
I agree with you 100 %Shows how much I bet.
Nevertheless, my point remains.
You cannot have someone involved in officiating the game, involved in any way with betting agencies.
Afl appwhere can i find ross the boss's press conference thanks
Actually seeing Roma last night made me think TDK and Roma would be deadly. The only think about TDK is that he's able to play as a proper forward unlike Marshall. Could extend his career not smashing him.
He is an absolute weapon. Absolutely filthy. Will be better and already is tracking better the wonderkid Max Holmes. With all the good recruiting we've done, I wouldn't be surprised if Darcy Wilson turns out to be the best of the lot.
Attract in 2s. TDK plus best available mid (LDU, Rowell, whoever wants in)Totally agree TDK would give us the best ruck/forward tandem in the competition. Gringo doesnt rate Marshall as a forward, but play him and TDK alongside King in the forward line and dominating the ruck will go a long way to winning games. Plus TDK is 4 years younger than Rowan so would give us some longevity.
I also think landing TDK would go a huge way to attracting a player like LDU or other elite mids.
Hopefully if it is going to occur the club get a few games into Max Heath before seasons end to grow his trade value.
Pfft, Holmes couldn't even tag Windy effectively. He is an absolute weapon. Absolutely filthy. Will be better and already is tracking better the wonderkid Max Holmes.
