He showed his worth again on Friday. Dwyer doesn't need to get a ton of possessions to be damaging as most of his touches are high-quality. He also knows where to run and how to create space. Very underrated player. Hopefully a few more will start giving him some recognition now

Yes, yes and yes. Great post, PP. I've always seen Dwyer as a Pendlebury in the making. Seems to find more time and space than everyone else. Seriously underated, not just by Pies fans, but league-wide.

His class on Friday had me wondering how hit and miss the recruiting system in the AFL can be. How the hell did he slip through until he was 26?

Adds so much polish, and it's all to do with his reading of the play and his decision making i.e. between the ears. He's a smart cat.

I reckon he was stiff to be dropped. Showed so much promise in first year or so.
