Same old problems

I walked away from the prem final last year thinking how the hell we lost the game after having so muvh ball, it was obvious our tall forwards arent good enough as they were that night and getting ottens and losing Graham we have actually gone backwards.

I just don't see are quick fix at the moment, playfair tries hard but we r not going to win a flag with him at CHF

Our midfield seemed abit loose last night but i guess if they had of used the ball baetter things might have been different.

I have had concerns all year and now i am just at a lost to where this club is going and how we can improve.

No excuses at all last night and i feel we couldeven miss the 8 now, not that it matters as we r just not good enough and we all know it now.

i dont think you can be too critical on playfairs last couple of weeks.
it was never gonna be easy for an unexperienced player of 30 odd games to return after 6 weeks straight into CHF.

As much as I love Geelong, I hate them equally as much...The young guys need to get over themselves..they all think they r great players..but the truth to the matter is that they're NOT and the sooner they realise that, the better off we'll be.

And before everyone pays out on me, I know for a fact that many others feel the same way.

Kingsly needs to learn he isnt the best one on one player, but he is very good on the lead.He should plonk himself in the goal square and lead STRAIGHT out (ie not on any terrible angle) and stop when he gets 40 m out. Then he'll kick goals.

Poor Poor Otto. I am still happy we have got him and I know he will turn it around next year and kick 50 goals

All this heat on the poor forwards... what about the defence?? That ball up in Essendons goal square was a disgrace. You could have breathed on the Sherrin and it would have been rushed through. Not to mention Mr Chapman and Mr Milburn resorting to their old ways, conceeding 50 meter penalties at crucial times in the 3rd quarter. We had the run on, but their actions turned the match 4 Essendon!

The inability to concede that ball behnd at the start of the last quarter was crushing cause i reckon there were four bolokes around hird when he got that goal and no one looked like they made a real effort. Half way through the third and in the last there was no doubt too many were flat footed and out of the contest.
