Sandy Just as Bad

Not only have Melbourne had a bad year but I noticed Sandringham also look like missing out on the Finals. That is a bit of a fall from grace for last years Premiers to this.
Not good for any of us this year.

yeah ive heard that. and its sad. but in a way that has been because of the same reasons that melbourne have had a bad year. Cos players that r on both the demons and zebras list, that were regulars with sandy this year, Broady for example, have been called up to play for the seniors, and then they r one less etc..... it is sort of like domino affect... so maybe its karma. LOL (like that **** is real)

i can't believe that last year's premiers are this bad.... it's sad coz if you AFL team isn't doing well you always have you VFL team... but not in this case.
lets hope next year will be better!

actually as of rd16 there were 14 players put on notice - to perform, or they r delisted and Clarky is one of them.

others include - Gerge, Febes, Funcke, Beama, OBrien, Johnno i think and some others which i cant remember, but i think they r finally starting to get serious. fingers crossed

i think its just that they got ssoooo ahead of them selves!
if they had any idea how tough things are after being a good side one yr and **** the next (which they should now know all about...) they should have tryed HEAPS harder!!!
the thing that pissed the **** out of my was that we have a pretty good side, with alot of great players that are simply not playing up to their potential (SP?).
RRRRR they make me ssoooo mad sometimes! then again, at times, i'm the proudest person in the world to support melbourne. its just like the flip of a coin!

But Clarky hasn't played one senior game yet... i mean if they don't give him a chance how can they know if he is good or not? Neale doesn't watch all the Sandy games... he doesn't know their potential! They better not delist Clarky and keep Grgic or someone down there will die!

EXACTLY! but according to the story, if they arent performing when they r playing, with seniors or vfl. AND they arent putting it in on the track (which is ****e and ill explain later**) they'll get the chop.


**The thing with players like clarky and that, who spend all year at sandy. they train with the club for the 1st 2 sessions during the week AND then they actually pick the team(in their minds)... but are careful to watch for any major changes at that main training session on wednesday or thursday. so really they only have 2 days to prove to neale and co. if they should be picked, which is totally ridiculous cos it gives him and other no hope in gettting picked for the seniors, based on such little evidence.

Did that make sense ???? i think not. oh well

See but the thing is, a few weeks ago Clarky got BOG for Sandy (he plays HB), that was the week they dropped Grgic. Than they put in Lamb, which was good and than they brought back Grgic. I'm sure that Clarky would have done a lot better than Grgic or even Lamb who had about 2 seconds of not so good time on the field; but how can he prove it if he never gets the chance?
He does valuable work for Sandy, and yeah maybe he will be **** once you elevate him but you won't know unless you try and frankly we don't have much to lose anymore so why not try?
Can you imagine what that does to the young players confidence? how is that fair on Clarky who has been putting in the hard work week in week out?!
It really gets to me that Neale prefers putting Woey in FB rather than Clarky or that he would do something so stupid as to put Grgic in the team every week but not let Clarky have a go. This is not only for Clarky but other players just as Lamb who don't ever get a go. They let Broadbridge into the side and he has been fantastic, so why not let others in? its not like we can get any worse with Grgic playing up back!

because this is melbourne football club we r talking about here. and they never do things logically or for the benefit for the side... I totally agree with you on this. i am surprised that clarky hasnt got a game this year. BUT unfortunately there aint a woman in charge, cos then it would all be good. :
