141 to 47 was the final score.

Brock McLean BOG by a mile with around 40 possessions and 2 goals. Brilliant disposal in difficult conditions.

Cam Hunter also excellent, taking a couple of hangers and racking up 20 odd touches for the game.

Bell very impressive again - rested in the last quarter. Very strong overhead.

CJ impressive. Great kick on both feet (rare for a left footer). Kicked 2 goals.

Smith quiet, Fisher got lots of it but wasted too many kicks.

Of the older players, Arma was good, Williams was pretty effective too. Heff was OK but needs to do more IMO.

BROCK IS A FUTURE SUPERSTAR! Mark my words.

40 possies and 2 goals must get him a game in the senior side

perhaps a replacement for broadbridge who despite having an okay last qtr was only on the ground i feel coz the match was won and we could try him out

Round 4 vs Werribee Trevor Barker Oval 25/04/04 Sun Aft

This is the big test. Bees are unbeaten lets see our kids dominate against them. The MFC players that get in next weeks best will mean more than those who were named in this weeks.

Spingvale are a very weak team, so a 16 goal win is just regulation.

ROUND 3

SENIORS

Trevor Barker Beach Oval Sunday April 18, 2:00 pm
Sandringham 3.2 6.6 11.9 21.16 (142)
Springvale Scorpions 1.3 4.5 6.8 6.11 (47)

Sandringham
Goals: Sautner 7, McLean 2, Smith 2, Johnson 2, Gallagher 2, Hunter 2, Jamar, Newman, Armstrong, Heffernan.
Best: Williams, McLean, Hunter, Armstrong, Bell, Heffernan, Sautner, Gallagher.
Springvale Scorpions
Goals: Murray 3, Brooks, Kosch, Smith.
Best: S. Fisher, Murray, Harrison, Ferguson.

Williams & Heff only played average games by most accounts, while it would appear that Jamar was very stiff not to be named in the best.

RESERVES

ROUND 3

Sandringham 6.4 14.10 17.14 20.21 (141)
Springvale Scorpions 1.2 2.2 4.4 6.4 (40)

Sandringham

Best: Gadsden, Treloar, Lewski, Smith, Ritterman, Carson, Mentiplay.
Springvale Scorpions
Goals: Worner 4, Palmer, Wynne.
Best: Bruin, Rafferty, Parsons, Wynne, Worner.

Sylvia slowly improving. 4 qtrs in the two's next week? Tough ask throwing him into the seniors against the top team half fit.

Carson should've kicked more apparently, gotta start playing seniors soon as Newman has lapped him. Steady as she goes with talls though, where there's life there's hope for big Dale

Campbell played another shocker, but he's got the whole year to lift his game & start to impress.

Bumped into a few of the Werribee players Saturday night.

Went to the Anglers Tavern for some drinks with friends and they were there celebrating their win. My sister and I had headed over to the bar when one of the 'Bees players (I think Patrick Wiggins) recognised my sister (a big Bulldogs fan) and said hi. With him were Lindsay Gilbee and some other guy. I was asked if I was her boyfriend, to which my sister replied "no, he's my brother. He's a Demons fan." At which point I found everybody's backs turned to me.

I don't know what bearing (if any) this has on next week's game.

Speaking of meeting players, McVeigh, Solomon, Misiti, Alvey and Rama were at my footy club on saturday night. We had some drinks with them and a chat. Good blokes. Alvey was smashed and one of them had a smoke, can't remember who though.
