Here is what they said about Bock

Nathan Bock, playing in defence for the Eagles provided plenty of drive and was another of the Eagles better players. He finished with 11 possessions and took four marks. He used the experience gained at AFL level to shut out his opponent, while at the same time looking to be an attacking backman when the opportunity arose.

He got spanked by Schell. Would love to see what would have been written about Schell if he was still on the list.

We can officially ignore these reports forever.

obviously they werent watching the same game were they Jars??

perhaps they shouldve given us one on Monfries:p

And I thought Bock really showed something for much of this year. Then he just hit the wall and played absolute rubbish near the end, and seems to have continued that into the SANFL finals. Very disappointing.

I'm a Dogs fan and I sat there last Sunday watching Schell and Bock all day - mainly from the point of watching Bock on a good SANFL / failed AFL forward to rate his potential.
While enjoying Schell's performance in the 3rd qtr - I'm sad to say Bock looked 3rd rate.............I'm not at all convinced with the chickenman - and if there were any enquiries from other clubs - I'd be listening real hard

Could be he has a tired body - but he just seemed too slow to react

He did show some things this year but he needs to find a settled position. I reckon he was better in the forward line than in the backline

Good point. When he went to the backlines was when he went down hill.

The Crows must be regretting getting rid of Schell now IMO. At a time the Crows couldn't kick a goal to save their lives, Shell goes on and wins the Ken Farmer medal.

Another Crows recruiting stuff-up!

I agree I think he showed glimpses of potential when he was played as a forward.
I was very suprised when he moved back to defence, even more so when he played on Tredrea!!! That was always going to end in tears that one.
Personally if some other teams want him and are prepared to offer us something decent I think we should take it. I ju8st dont want to trade him for trading sake. If no trade become available leave him up forward as another tall option.
Smith can then play Bocks defensive post next year.

I wouldnt go that far! I think he is a good sanfl player but I dont think he would of made it AFL level, he had 2 cracks at it, he had his chance and he was never able to stand up.

Surely you jest:confused:

The day Daniel Schell was going to make it as AFL footballer was the day I become an aeroplane.

He is the dud of the highest order and his skills below his knees are non-exsistant.

I agree, but what does that make Bock.

He was even worse the week before :(

He was even worse the week before

His disposal las week was shocking, turned the game on last week saw him get three touches in a minute, all from pretty strong grabs, one went out of bounds on the full, one when two metres over the head of his team mate who was about twenty metres in the clear and the other hit an opponent on the chest.

A dud:(.

I was never a big fan but I am hopeful that he turns it around. Hopefully we can ship him off during the trade period.
Fremantle and Sydney would be keen.

I don't reckon he that good as a forward. It was a joke we used him at CHF when Perrie was playing for North. I think it is more of a case that Bock is not a KPP & better suited to a HBF - but IMO is behind Bassett, Hart, Begley, Torney, Massie & Doughty. As I have said before, I would trade him if we get any reasonable offer.

You're just denying the superstar that is Bock. After denial comes acceptance.

You're joking, right? Surely?

Schell is a fair SANFL player, but when it comes to the AFL his lack of skill and ground-effort become embarassingly evident.

I'd take Bock over Schell anyday, though Bock is beginning to really disappoint me.

i'd say a HFF, better that he is kicking at goals
