Re: Round 4 trades

Hmm i'm very very stumped with this one...

As stated the thing with Rioli is consistency... Higgins has that part covered. Then again he (Rioli) has looked pretty consistent so far (though it's only been two games). If Hawthorn had have won that game against Geelong I would estimate that Rioli's score would have been more like 100-105 than 82 or so. I remember checking at 3 quarter time and alot of the Hawthorn players were on track for tons (Mitchell, Franklin, Rioli) and then they ended up with 80's and 90's after Geelong got the win.

So what does this add to the debate? A lot more confusion for me that's what ...

Yeah, you can make it alot more confusing.. That is what this forum is about!! getting confused half the time!!

Rioli has had 2 great games, but he hasn't proved he can string consistency together. It's been a great start that's for sure, just have a feeling he could do a hamstring like last year or have an ordinary game.. Having said that Higgins did it last year lol. Bugger it, I'll back Higgins on this one.

Anyone is better then Medhurst lol. Can't believe I got sucked in!

Re: Round 4 trades

There is no way I'm touching Rioli.

He can't even train properly. Too much risk for mine.

Yeah you are right about the his score in that game I think he should have hit the ton, and he did score 140 in a loss on the weekend, so he could be the guy to go for, if he holds up phisicly, you will be over the moon with him. Just about best player on that list with Mitchell snd Hodge. Keep in mind Higgins is set to peak at 510k (only 35k from were he is now) Ciryl, if he does keep this avg up (a bit unlikely) will hit about 540k but it doesnt really matter because they are both keepers. The reason He will hit 540k is because of the 140 on the weekend, his price will do up dramaticly over the next 2 weeks. But all Higgins needs is 1 130-140 game to reach the same hights.

Mitchell actual scored 68 in that game and that was with 32 possies I think, complete bull, he is on my radar Mitchell, droped a few $$

Just think WWLRD (What would Liverpool Red Do) ;)

Re: Round 4 trades

What do you guys think of these trades:
Stanton > Harvey, Ball > Mitchell/Delideo, Medhurst > Harvey/Franklin, Bock > Newman

Also you guys might wanna keep an eye out for Hargraves He started at 515k and if he scores 75 in the next 2 rounds he will drop to 360k, I should be able to trade maguire or Silvagni for him ;)

newman is out this week isn't he?

Re: Round 4 trades

is it worthwhile trading kennelly to malcheski?
I'm wondering the same thing... In hindsight, it should have been done last week. Last week I thought it looked a bit sideways though and there had only been two games played and I wanted to base it on more than that.

Things look a lot different this week though; three games seems like so much more than two and Malceski's average looks so much better than Kennelly's... Mal's price is just going to continue to grow and I can picture kicking myself in the later rounds for not picking him up so cheaply earlier.

Taking into account previous comments made about Malceski (about playing easy opposition so far and that he may be targeted in the future), I still think I'm going to make the trade. Tadgh is my lowest scoring back at the moment and this would set me up with, what I consider to be, a solid backline.

It would probably be helpful if I had had the chance to actually see any Sydney games this year

Re: Round 4 trades

Having dilemas which one to go for

Gia OUT Rioli IN OR
Medhurst OUT Reimers IN

Or is there any other decent players that i have missed between 300 - 400k?

Then
Rie OUT Chapman IN

Thanks

yeh only have 13k in the kitty, makes its difficult.

Which player would be better Rioli or Higgins? was thinking Rioli orginally.

Rioli is about 60k cheaper but coming off OP this pre-season.. Higgins, basically 3 tons so far.

Re: Round 4 trades

Need to trade Roo, but am undecided on either Chapman, Brown or Goodes?

And also, Moles or Coyler?

Thanks guys

I'm a little biased but I'd go Moles. Liam Picken is out for 6 - 8 weeks and I'm pretty sure Molesy will play over that time and probably even beyond. His NAB scoring was really good and is averaging 73 in his first 2.

Brown and Rioli
or
Pavlich and Brennan ?

i can't split them.

Toss a coin. ;)
