Scam?

Hey, I have recently switched to 3 mobile and last night I got an unsolicited call from a woman with a heavy asian accent wanting to verify my adderess. So I was like whatever, cool and then she asked for my customer service password. This seemed pretty suss considering they called me ... Does that sound dodgy to anyone else?

Nope, am hoping someone either confirms that it's a scam going around or that i'm a paranoid ********

I'm a recent Three convert and I've received no such calls. Any time I call customer care I do get directed to an Asian lady, though.

You are absolutely right to be paranoid. Always safer to assume something is a scam. I'm with 3 and I would have hung up and called 3 to confirm my details. Anyway, I think you can update them online.

But the legit calls probably have strong asian accents too
