What is going on by broadcasting half the match from behind the goals and boundary observations.

You could hear the excitement generated by the audio as they were gettign close to goal but it was difficult to know exactly where in the 50 they were.

I can't get to many live Swans games in Brisbane but this terrible showing ball ups from behind the goals is spoiling the game somewhat (And the swans kicking for goal)

Someone needs to move the effects mic away from the fans and their fluttering back ground noise over the game.

Am I just mad or is anyone else getting the shits with the broadcast.

YES is the camerman in a plane above the stand behind the goals?

they also zoom in at strange times and at one stage didnt even follow the ball today its annoying this year.

noticed this too whilst not wallowing in pain watching my team play.

its hard to tell how much time a player has with the ball from that angle, not sure what they were thinking.

Not a big fan of the camera angle either (though i suppose theres nothing they can do about it)

The use of the red ball gets lost amongst the red colouring in the crowd as well

I don't mind it in moderation, a bit closer to actually being at the ground than the usual close in focus on the play at hand, get to see play unfolding in front of you.

the annoying noise is the Citi Bank signs that fold up to become clappers. Annoying on TV and at the game.

Yeah, I've always much preferred being at the SCG to watching games on TV - the camera angles at the SCG have never been that great even during the old Channel 7 days. I guess it's just the way the stands are built making it harder for the cameras to get a better angle... it's still a great ground to watch footy at!
