Well, he seems to be able to get the pill. He had 22 disposals, 2nd only to Chad. More than your Hero Heeney. Were you one of the people here calling for him to be dropped, even when he was in the first 5 in the Skilton lol? He is needed atm. There is nobody coming in that is going to average 24 disposals. His efficiency is off, I'll give you that but if you look at the rest, it is about the same. Heeney is only batting just above 60% this year. All our players have disposal problems this year.

Yes I realised that after posting. 7 disposals and 0 goals last week was not good. Although I think the ball didn't get down there much.

We had 61 entries into the forward line last week, but like most of the team didn’t turn up to play.

I have no idea what these players are supposed to be doing, where they're supposed to be getting it, how they're supposed to be playing. They just float around doing I don't even know what half the time.

Look they are not the only ones. Heeney is batting at just over 60% DE. Blakey worse. At one stage last week he had 25%. Roberts is worse than both Lloyd and Florent. But I don't hear you baying for his blood. He hasn't hit anyone with a pass this year. Rowie has been playing Rugby Union with his up and overs. Most of our team couldn't hit a brown cow stationary against a white wall

Although I think the season is over, I want to start seeing some green shoots in Cox’s game plan as the season progresses and start getting players back, but with players being thrown around the chess board, the team is unsettled and playing putrid. At least with Amartey back in it gives us some structure forward of the ball. Also I don’t want to see even one 50 metre given away this week, is that asking too much?

We leak goals and go missing for at least one quarter ever week. I could see us winning. This could be the week we get our act together. Or we could lose by 3-4 goals. Just as likely.

I still think if we can get our shit together he will. But we have to start playing footy first. He won't if he stays injured. He has to be on the park. I don't think he is far behind the best forwards mate. I think he has more talent than McKay, the Kings etc, Next year we get two top 10 and another in the Top 20 into our squad from the Academy. They are all top quality disposers apparently. Add Heeney, Gulden, Csmpbell, Blakey, Bice, Ollie, Macca and Roberts all at their best then he gets the delivery a forward deserves. Maybe JUH comes. But I worry about that.

Lloyd should be dropped, if you are judging performance based on disposals numbers, well that explains your viewpoint then.

Pretty fair changes, Ladhams deserves to be recalled with VFL form and Amartey if fit is in. Francis is competing fairly well up forward so there's our 3 talls. Hamling shifts to defence with no Melican. McLean stiff but think we are lacking output from him so should get his confidence back in the 2s.
