I accidently went onto the Swans thread (I aim my mouse like Kosi aims a football ). There is a thread there called Ross Lyon On Schneider and Dempster. The discussion is that Schneider was getting paid a fair bit at Sydney and they were struggling with the salary cap, and that RL offered big money to come to the Saints.
Speculation is that he is one of the higher paid saints.

I don't know if there is any truth in it, and I would be pissed off if there was because it sounds like jobs for the boys.

Wouldn't surprise me if we'd be stupid enough to do something like that.

He is one of the laziest footballers I have ever seen wear our colours and that is saying something.

Read the thread, they reckon he's our third highest paid player. Absolute horse shit, like someone in the thread said if he was there would be some sort of riot from the players surely. We may have made some bad recruiting decisions but I refuse to believe they would pay Schneider more than all but two of Riewoldt, Dal, Hayes, Ball, Kosi, Harvey, Goose, Max, Chips etc.

Agree. I suppose Chucky G is our fourth highest paid player.
