JuddgementDay joins Ophidian Old Boys with their first round rookie pick

OOB DRAFT combines have wrapped up at Spotswood, giving the opportunity for the elite level hopefuls to see if they stack up athletically to the Ophidian Old Boys high standards. For most prospects, it was a chance to showcase just how much they had improved since preseason.

JuddgementDay came out as arguably the best draft prospect of the lot, a classy player who came first in the standing vertical jump, running vertical jump, 20m sprint and the agility test. OOB talent spotters have had JuddgementDay on their radar for sometime, and rate him as a once in a generation talent.

JuddgementDay Soars above other Rookies​

In what became a no-brainer the Ophidian Old Boys have taken JuddgementDay with the number one pick in the SWEET F.A. draft. There had been speculation the wooden spooners would trade out of the top spot to get more picks, but the brains trust in Spotswood decided to stick firm and take JuddgementDay with their number one pick.

Despite being the consensus top pick and saying he was "pretty laidback" about all the hype around him, JuddgementDay admitted to having some butterflies before his name was read out.

"It's a big relief," he told Qox Qooty. “I look forward to strapping on the qooty boots at Spotswood and doing my bit to help the team from cup to spoon to cup. It’s a qooty dream come true.”
