He was interviewed at half time during the game yesterday and mentioned something about an athriscope (sp?) on it earlier in the season. So I'm guessing it's a shoulder he's had problems with before.

Anyone know if this is the last season of his contract? If so might be the end for him at Adelaide..... (although I hope not!)

In this tough business he needed to show something in the 2nd half of the season.

This injury is the worse thing to happen to him and you may well be right.

He signed 2 year deal at the end of last season so he still has a year to go

This may be the jolt he needs to really put his foot to the peddle on his career

Buggar! Couldn't see us delisting Schuey even if he were in the last year of his contract, as others with their heads closer to the chopping block. Well I guess it gives us more game time to try out other youngsters & fringe players before years end.

I agree with you that even if it was the last year of Schuey's contract he wouldn't be moved on. The people at the club rate him and there would be at least 6 players they would move on before Schuey.

It also might explain why his last couple of games lacked some intensity if his shoulder wasnt any good.
