Just wanting to know, how many points does a goal count for?

I know its 8 for the actual goal but is there another 4 on top of that for an effective kick or not?

Also, when does the lockout end? Is is midnight tonight or 11pm or just whenever it feels like it?

About 90% sure that you get either your short or long kick as well. You normally see someone just before an update saying contested mark, short kick then after the update they get credited with the goal. I know I say this last night when brown kicked a goal

Lockout normally ends between 11-12

Does anyone know how the kickouts work? From memory, and this is going back a few years, im sure kicking out didnt count as a stat, but now with the kick to yourself business, is the next kick counted? If not, it seems like a lose/lose situation for any players who take the kickout.

I remember seeing a thread a few weeks ago that was saying it was unfair, because if the kick out player (without kicking it to himself first) drills a 60m kick straight down the throat of a team mate, won't get points for it, BUT if he were to get a clanger from the kickout, he'd lose points. Something along those lines.

If they play on it's counted.

Thats why I love it when the play on :)

I know for a fact that u get 1 point for an effective kickin. I think normal clanger points apply as well

It's so hard to work out the Super Coach scoring system. I just continue to shake my head each week with some of the scoring that happens. I have given up on trying to work it out, but it is frustrating none the less.

Pretty sure I saw Johncock kick in today directly to an opponent. I have Johncock so had a look at the scores at the time expecting to see him lose 10 or 15 points as I have seen others lose at stages, and low and behold I think he stayed the same or might have even gone up a point or 2. Pretty confusing stuff if you ask me.

Don't get me wrong, I like the idea of losing points for turnovers etc, but I just find it hard to follow at times.

on the contrary... I saw and read kornes receive a hb and kick it straight to his brother...was recorded as hb receive and short kick... Yet he lost 5 points

And I love deciphering the code that is SC..it's good that you know some stars that aren't written up and notice when they are performed

How did you look at the scores live?

I know you ca do it on dreamteam, that's why I like dreamteam actually, but I didn't know you could do it for SC?
