Where did you hear the rumour??

I doubt we'll lose Scotland this year, he had a great year and I'd be really surprised if it was on the agenda.

he is a consistent, ball getting - good skilled - workman like midfielder - i don't know much about freo's midfield - but is that what you need?

i'll give him an easy rating guide for you if u like


his ball getting and possession rate is A grade

his ball use is B grade

his consistency is A grade

his work ethic is A grade

his defensive rate is probably somewhere between B - C.

on the carlton board - which it was heard on a carlton website- i've also heard he is out of contract , asking for more money - and carlton also need to offload some players in order to get another decent pick to attain Judd.

he had an excellent year - no doubt - he has actually had an excellent 6 years - hasn't had a poor year since arriving IMO

I would do Hasleby for Scotland, but with a slight hesitation. Would still prefer to keep Hase but if we were backed into a corner this would be a win-win deal IMO.

i think that is about fair - Hasleby's reputation probably see's him even with scotlands application and consistency.

carlton would probably be looking for an early pick though to help secure judd- i can see them doing a series of confusing trades with scotland, russell and pick 20 to try and get a pick they need

i think scotland though would be a good player - his pace is reasonable - but he isn't quick in a deledio or wells league - thats for sure.

McGough was very slow - is it him your thinking of? he would be quicker than Haselby, scotland that is

i do agree - perhaps your 2nd rounder -, carltons 2nd rounder & Haselby to another club for their first rounder? who - i have no idea though - its hard to see anyone giving up a first rounder this season

That's interesting.I guess if he wants a change and there is little interest in Victoria he is a possibility.

Still can't see us trading Hasleby because he wants more money then bringing in Scotland who is leaving the Blues for more money.
