Who said anything about a goal a game average? He’d only need to up it by 10% for his game to goal ratio to significantly improve. I’m not asking for a miracle.

I thought he was fantastic tonight. I see some saying he was unPendles like but I must have been watching a different game. Other than one fumble his hands were silky smooth and he looked like he could play another game at the end of the praccy.

No, he rests on the bench. He doesn't have the speed to apply defensive pressure, nor the the speed to get separation. And without speed, he doesn't have the strength to contest one-on-one.

Not sure I agree he was fantastic

He was...ok. But I'm not gonna write him off for the season based on one practice match in the midfield either.
