Hard to call when we have players that have multiple premiership medals, albeit from nearly a century ago. He is the greatest Collingwood player (by almost every measure) in the modern era, circa 1970s onwards.Has Pendles also been our greatest ever finals players?

Crisp has been voted best finals player a few times hasn't he?Hard to call when we have players that have multiple premiership medals, albeit from nearly a century ago. He is the greatest Collingwood player (by almost every measure) in the modern era, circa 1970s onwards.
I feel privileged that I been able to witness Pendles, along with Bucks, and a couple of Daicos' (Peter and Nick).
He’s was rated in the top 3 of the past decade so definitelyCrisp has been voted best finals player a few times hasn't he?
Has Pendles also been our greatest ever finals players?
Ayers was pretty goodI believe the highest rated finals players are Dusty, Swanny and Crisp.
But I stand to be corrected there
Ayers was pretty good
I think you’re right and the criteria was since 2012 or somethingNo no, I wasn't trying to give an opinion.
Each year around finals time, the stat is always discussed and if I recall correctly, the last time the stat was shown, those were the top 3 I think. But I could be wrong. This was some time ago.
Based on yersterday's form he'd be resigned for next year.... there's another 20+ games (plus finals!)**** your record Pendles reckons. 500 is the goal
He’s never been a burst player from stoppage and when he can just control things like a conductor through the middle like Saturday his value to the side is still immense even in his quieter days. Having a career high in your 431st game is just taking the piss. What next? Kicks 7 in his record game?Based on yersterday's form he'd be resigned for next year.... there's another 20+ games (plus finals!)

Daicos / Buckley played 510 games for the Pies.He has played in more wins than Peter Daicos and Nathan Buckley played total games for Collingwood
Pendles wins 261Daicos / Buckley played 510 games for the Pies.
Pendles wins 261
Buckely games 260
Daicos games 250
He does have the same amount of wins as them combined at the moment though, 113 (Bucks) + 148 (Daics) = 261I getcha. I thought you meant combined.
Now do Cripps? He does have the same amount of wins as them combined at the moment though, 113 (Bucks) + 148 (Daics) = 261

A respectable 86, Shame it took 236 games to do itNow do Cripps?![]()
At least hes got that finals campaign in 2023 to....A respectable 86, Shame it took 236 games to do it
Would not we prefer he be re-signed?Based on yersterday's form he'd be resigned for next year.... there's another 20+ games (plus finals!)

The amount of drama that stupid little hyphen must have caused throughout history would be staggering. Imagine how many blokes have quit their jobs only to find out they still work thereWould not we prefer he be re-signed?![]()
The classic was when we were all waiting for Bucks to re-sign and eventually Michael Felgate announces that he has resigned. I think there was another journo who ran with the blooper too.The amount of drama that stupid little hyphen must have caused throughout history would be staggering. Imagine how many blokes have quit their jobs only to find out they still work there
