They need to be very clear what is and isn't acceptable cos weekly they change the interpretation to suit the current agenda, and occassionally it appears to suit who it is. One day a Club will take these ******'s to court and sue the bejesus out of them, and that you do not want.

Stokes would barely come up to Thompson's shoulder. I can't figure out where the high contact is especially when Stokes has his arm and shoulder tucked in. The umpire's clearly dubious opinion has been given way too much weight here, and his opinion is to cover his own dodgy decision in the first place.

It's Mark Fraser
Until that bloke is given the arse, we just going to have sit back and watch this great sport slowly but surely become a non-contact sport.

What do they think was the high contact?

Are they saying stokes swung his arm into ST face?

Surely the slight bump in the side is not the high contact?

Thats exactly what he did do. As i mentioned in another thread, Thompson put Stokes down off the ball and Stokes basically chased him, bumped him and gave him a little slap to the chops at the same time. You couldnt see the slap on the vision on Foxtel from behind, but I was sitting in front of it and he did actually give him a little clip. Thompson then proceeded to go down from apparent sniper fire from the crowd.

I say sack both Mark Fraser and Jeff Gieschen, then replace 'em with Matthew Scarlett and Garry Hocking respectively. That'd sort the problems out real quick.

A little byplay between Stokes and Thompson - Ump sees the incident and pays a free for high contact - Correct decision was made.
Why did the MRP then take it further, without investigating the off-ball incident on Stokes? This is where the situation becomes laughable.
