How interchange works is if, for example, you named 5 Midfielders in your starting 18 and had 2 on the bench then the top 5 of the 7 will actually score and the other two won't.

But if you have no backup on the bench and a player pulls out before the game then you will score zero for that player.

Sorry guys.

I just got to the computer now. The reason I haven't been able to make a selection is due to the fact that my computer was taken away for repairs, meaning I had no access to the internet. I would have provided a list beforehand if I had known it was going to be taken.

Seeing as no one has made a selection after my autopick, would it be alright by you if I actually made a proper selection and hence not receive David King?

McPhee came across from Freo as a HBF and last year played increasingly on the wing.

But this is the reason we use the positions named in the paper to adjudicate because it can be subjective.

McPhee played all 22 games last year and was named 11 times in the midfield and only 8 times in the backline. He needed to be named 9 times in the backline to be able to be changed to a BM (8/22 is 36% - need 40%).

I still think it's a good pick as he's a solid player - I would think he will be named during the season across HB 3 times which means he'll be able to be player in both positions anyway.
 
Where was he named the other 3 games?!? :confused:

Chris Ladhams (M) from Adelaide - might argue his position coz I don't think he's ever been named midfield but since you can play 5 or 6 midfielders I might not bother
 
The other three games he was named in the Forward line once and the interchange bench twice.
 
Thinking about it - you're absolutley right Russian!!

Being named on the bench shouldn't count.

Therefore in the McPhee example he was named 8 of 20 times as a BM - which is 40% and therefore can be challenged.
