Ok, there a ferals for all clubs and I expect crap from most of them, however the scum act of universally cheering an injured player (Dids) coming off the ground by Melbourne members was pathetic !!!

Also the dirty tactics employed by this shit of an excuse for a footy club, says A LOT about Mark Neeld and I have nothing but contemp for both him and his club.

I hope you stay a bottom scum feeding mongrel club for good !!!!

Yeah, nothing like a game against their 1950's rivals to turn the MCC into a bunch of ferals.

What dirty tactics? If you're referring to the Fas incident, I'd seriously doubt that any coach would condone an action that would grant the opposition a 2 x 50 meter penalty, and the likelihood of suspension to the player involved.

Not too worried about the onfield incidents however the offield stuff was a disgrace. Entire sections of the MCC jeered Didak off and celebrated his injury.

Melbourne have close ties to the MCC, they are an official part of that club. Someone needs to bring it up in the media.

I think that there is every possibility that a large percentage of those that jeered Didak when coming off the ground may have not known he was injured. The jeering could well have been just because he kicked the ball out on the full then went straight to the bench.

I myself wasn't watching Didak just after he kicked as I watched the ball then the set up of our forward defense. I saw Didak come off but didn't realise he was injured until being told by someone next to me with a radio.

It also occured last season (2 different clubs) when Menzel did his knee. An entire bay of Hawthorn supporters jeered and laughed at the injured player.

The MCC did investigate that matter.

They were awful today. Wish I was in the ponsford. I was down the Punt rd end and they were disgusting. Especially jeering Dids' injury.
Poor form Melbourne supporters.

Buckley made mention of it on Classified. He is seething about it.

Time to make an official complaint to the MCC, not that it will achieve anything, but the awareness will be there.

Yeah I had a Shelia ahead of me giving me hard time. Especially when I was having a Go at Umpires and I told here don't get me Started and Where do I get Started

Yep, Bucks bought that up.

It seemed to me that the biggest cheer came when the announcement of the sub was put up on the big screen, and most of the noise came from the Melbourne cheer squad end.

We are labelled as "scum" and "uncouth" by apparently more educated and intelligent supporter bases, yet today there was no doubt which club would be prouder of their supporter base.

Do Melbourne even Have Supporters. Suprised they where not up in the Snow

very low act on the part of melbourne supporters - should be ashamed of themselves.
yeh, bucks brought it up on footy classified... if collingwood supporters did that we'd never hear the end of it

I'm with Bloben and also think the cheering / jeering was for the farcical looking scrubber of a kick.

They may even have thought he kicked the ground instead of the ball and laughed at that.

I do not think they'd have known he had a very significant injury at that instant - I'd give them the benefit of the doubt for sure.

Though there was a cheer when the sub was announced, which I agree takes more explaining.

There was a 30 second delay from when he shanked the kick & then until he ran off. I was in the MCC & there were sections / bays jeering him off when he made his way to the interchange.

It was clear to all that he was injured and then the 'jeering' got louder.

I was seething when it happened, really low act from the Melbourne supporters. Bucks mentioned it it on FC but kinda got cut off, just wish he made more of a point of it.

Right of reply, was in the Olympic and cheered the shank, stopped when I realised he was limping. Got the radio report about 20secs later.

I'd suggest it was a matter of circumstance - making a kick like that then looking like you were dragged, not everyone would get it and people get caught in the heat of the moment.

The melb playing list is the biggest sniping snivelling pathetic list in the AFL.

Hell carlton have more honor than them. I really hope they stay bottom of the ladder forever, hate them. Their supporters are arrogant, and always rip on collingwood supporters when they are just as bad or worse

You are giving them to much leeway. I was sitting up amongst them. Didak was right in front of the members and it was clear to me immediately he had badly injured his groin. There was an initial jeer for the kick no doubt but as he hobbled to the bench in clear dicomfort the jeering rose to a cresendo. As I said it was right in front of the members and the noise became louder as they realised he was injured

They were ordinary

Melbourne must be made to pay for the disrespect shown to Dids. The club should end the agreement to allow the Dees a home fixture on Queens birthday. As a member I do not support giving those silver tails any financial support.

They were very disappointing yesterday. Players and supporters alike. No class. Seriously, Carlton carry themselves better than this mob. I hope they lose this fixture.

How different was it on Anzac day?
