Could this guy solve our ruck problems instead of warnock??? 200cm 100kg and only 24 this year. Worsfold obviously has little faith in him as they still continue to play cox who is carrying an injury. The last couple of years i thought he has been very good as a second ruckman/ resting forward, has a good kick and strong mark.
West coast obviously want draft picks and maybe might be keen on a pettifer deal.

actually a deal involving seaby and hurn, i rate hurn also a strong body midfielder who can kick a long goal. It might cost us a couple of later picks and a player but would fix a couple of problem areas.
 
NO! He's not getting a go at West Coast cos guess what? He's not much bloody good!! If Greg Miller trades away anything higher than a third round pick in the last free draft in 5 years I will personally drive a rusty nail through his silver coated tongue. Ok, maybe a 2nd rounder for Warnock. But Seaby? Save me!

ha ha so true like tivers last yr LOL! please dont let us pick up the un-co giant that is mark seaby,,,although maybe if we can transfer his kicking to richo, hmmmmm in second thoughts how about we give them howat, petts and a set of stainless steel steak knives ?

Just say No!, no Way!, stop looking for quick fixes, Gus Graham and Cartledge are showing plenty of development in the magoos, we must be patient look at how long it's taken Hille at Essendon and right now he's more than a capable ruckman.:cool:

Hilles been awesome for 5 years now. Just took 5 years for anyone to actually notice.

Seaby wont be traded because hes at his lowest value. Hes off to the Gold Coast in a year or twos time

I have been hearing this a lot. If the Gold Coast team is only coming into the AFL competition in 2011 (2009 TAC Cup, 2010 VFL) then won't the 2010 draft be the first that is not 'free' leaving this year and next year as 'free' drafts?

A myth. Seaby doesnt get a go because he cant play any position other then a ruckman. With Cox in the team he was only getting 20 mins a game having a go in the ruck. Rest of the time he had no use. IMO ALOT of teams will play with one ruckman from now on.
 
pretty bad english.

i think the saying would be "Seaby is A dud."

and hes not that bad, just having a horror year. i'd like to keep him if he can return to form.

better than most backup rucks going around.

We could do worse.

Only consider it if simmonds retires/has a career ending injury. Because if that happens we are stuck with pattison, cartledge, putt and graham as our rucks. How depressing is that?
