Hey guys, a very disappointing game vs. Collingwood, but hey, we're just likely to come out and beat Geelong, Sydney love being the underdogs. Anyway, my question to you guys is 'What do you think of Sean Dempster?' Is he good value or a waste of time? I think he does his bit each week and virtually goes unnoticed, I like him alot. He has a big kick on him and he's usually very direct and accurate. A real team player. Thoughts?

I think he is a good solid player who doesnt make alot of mistakes. Going unnoticed is usually a good thing as i means he didnt make any mistakes. He is a player that i hope will be in the Swans team for the next 10 years.

I hope so too, because I like his enthusiasm and good skills. He's a blue-collar worker for sure, which is what the Swans are built on.

solid contributor, has flair, can be creative, needs the chance to show it tho, and isn't given the chance to show some individualism on the field at all.

He's fast, disciplined and can kick it a long way. He isn't really tall enough to play as a tall defender most weeks and not agile enough to play on a small. Did a good job part time against Brad Johnson a few weeks back.

I am very happy he is playing for us. Just needs to move the ball on quicker (probably not his fault no one is making space:confused:), maybe take on the man a bit more often but not all the time. 9/10 he marks then jogs back and waits for someone to present. Get it moving on quicker, his long kicks would then become inside 50s. Just make sure they are pointed towards Magic, Davis or O'Keefe as these guys can often outmark their opponent in a variety ways not just on a strong lead (Barry Hall, I'm looking in your direction).

Reeks of a bloke that was a KPP forward all his jnr development. Does anyone know?

Put him at FF... trust me or argue the point:eek:

I don't know about putting him Full Forward, but definitely put him in the pocket or in the forward line somewhere just to see how he goes. I still feel he's yet to find his real niche on the field. Try him in different possitions Roos, you may be surprised. Although he has done well minimalising the impact of some influential players in the past.
