Whilst I was flicking my way through the record on the way home from our triumphant victory (sorry needed to gloat at least a bit), I noticed Sean Rusling's name and 0 games this year. Has he been injured at all? From what I remember of him he looked an alright player with great pace, playing in the forward line? What's happened to him?

Done his shoulder again.

Was looking like he would play a big part in our plans this year, but injured himself again unfortunately.

He has talent, lets just hope he doesn't become another Lee Walker.

id offer him as trade to a sth australian club at years end, for a ruckman....sth australian clubs have some victorian big men eg: deluca, meesen and maric..

I will say this right now, if we trade rusling for meesen i will not renew my membership again. I went to school with a few boys that played falcons with him and are still in touch and they all say he is a long way off if he is even a chance. This would be a waste of talent trading to rusling for someone who has the potential to be half as good as Richards at best.

I'm mates with a Vic based Crows player who told me Meesen was going to carry their ruck this season. Placed him in dream team on this advice and has never played. Was informed about six weeks ago by my mate that Meesen isn't half as good as Bryan or Richards and that he may not even be as good as Brent Hall. This Crows player told me will be lucky to be there next year.

We routinely say that Richards is half as good as an inanimate carbon rod. You can't always take a disgruntled supporter's opinion on players they've never seen play senior footy.

Gosh, I have no problems with people having an opinion but at least make it an informed one. You want to know why Meesen hasn’t played this year? In the pre-season he suffered a serious knee injury which kept him out for 3 months which was a huge blow because we was expected to be our back-up ruckman this season.

He’s been back for 6 weeks now and he made his return to SANFL seniors last week and put in a decent showing in atrocious conditions. And just yesterday he had 12 possessions, 7 marks, 2 goals and 20 hit-outs and was named 3rd best.

You guys don’t rate him fine, but by the looks of it you really aren’t too informed on the matter.

To be fair, I've seen some pretty ignorant comments by Adelaide supporters on their own board about Collingwood players who are potentially up for trade.
