Season 2011 to hold a Division 3 U19s

Has been discussed heavily amongst Division 2 presidents and looks more than likely to happen. Think it's an absolute waist of time unless you get more than 7 teams in each league. Seems pointless playing each team 3 times+ in one season!

no hope in hell of getting div3 u19s up and going.. theres only a couple of sides in div 3 with

Smart move.
It is a waste of time for teams like Watsonia or Resevoir losing by 200 points each week. Their should be form of grading system, top 8 teams to play in div 2 and the rest in div 3. St Marys are too good for Div 3 and Hurstbridge are not good enough Dv 2.

Their was 13 team last year, add in South Morang thats would make 14. A 6 team division isn't ideal, it would be better to have 8 teams but at still a significant improvement on the current situation

Mate I think you should check the results from 2010 U19s. It will show that you don't know what you are talking about wtih Wats U19s. They certainly were not being beat by 200 plus points every week.

I just had a look at Wats 19s results as suggested. They had an average loosing margin of 91 points. Your right, it's not 200 points every week, but they still got flogged most weeks. A new division would be the best thing for everyone involved

Eltham and Bundoora likely. Heard Macleod may not be fielding a 2nd Under 19
