Official Match Thread Season 30 R14: Fighting Furies vs Roys FFC at rfctigerarmy's Hippodrome (MOTR)

We are proudly supporting Beyond Blue in our Dark Side v Light side match on Friday (link below) and as part of this, we have analysed each team for Dark side / Light side characteristics:

MOTR for two teams who leave a lot to be desired. The Furies on one hand, the Roys on the other. The best result for everyone would be to get both arms amputated or perhaps less serious, just let go of both teams. The Roys were the main instigators of the COVID-19 second wave meanwhile the Furies were the media backflipping at everything the Victorian Government did. Oh wait, this is Qooty.

Furies are a good team but so are the Roys (purely on-field, off-field they SUCK). Set to be a blockbuster game though with an opportunity to move up to second on the ladder on the occasion for the Furies.

Key Players:
Furies:
Tigerturbulance: Not for his on-field performance, but the sooner he stops believing in the conspiracy that changes to teams each week will improve the chances of a win, the sooner I can sleep at night knowing there’s one less insane person in the world.
Hate – A stat-whore, Hate is 12th in the league in hit-outs but this is not a discredit to him with 3 Furies players in the top 15 for the league. If he plays in the middle, he’ll be sure to dominate yet again.

Roys:
JackNah_8 – Averaging 20.8 disposals (#6 in the league), Jack is having a great season and while he may not be near the All-SFA standard, he’s certainly showing that he’s capable of achieving a lot in this league
Mobbs – Please, please, please someone keep an eye on him, I’m afraid he’s going to fall asleep, fall over and hit his head again.

Key Match-Ups To Watch:
The Half Back v the ability to use an image editing program other than Paint
TedDougChris v voting on the admin via Australia Post
Dingster v leaving the Wonders when they need him the most :’(

Prediction:
The pundits believe this game will end in the Furies favour by 28 points. No chance are the Roys winning this one.
