I’ve done my good deed for the day. My dad has alzheimers, probs won’t remember we even went to church but I will remember and that’s why I went. Memories that he’ll never have again

He might not remember but it will still have a positive effect. That's something I learned from the staff when my mother-in-law had alzheimers. Just like anyone, feeling happy or content for even a short time has a good effect and makes the person generally happier even if they might not remember the cause!

Exactly mate. My dad says jump. I say how high bc one day he won’t remember me at all. Sad reality.
