Have enjoyed sitting on level 1 in the new Ponsford stand and was curious to how much if any are the Collingwood faithful allocated during your home games ?

I am not a member , but I enjoy sitting up the top of the Ponsford Stand (thought i would never say that), so I guess all is for Collingwood members besides the top tier.

I loved sitting level 1 in AFL Members each and every week last year, now i regret saving my money. lol

top deck is as far as you will get for the Pies home match unless you are a social club member or another member who has forked out a fair bit for the chance to get good seats (obviosuly not you as you barrack for Richmond!)

for someone like me or LF50, or you, its about row J-K upwards in the top deck that you can sit, in the Ponsford anyway

i know its a generalisation but good they have got the Ponsford up cos the ferals will mostly be up either end now, cheer squads what im really referring to there

Despite the fact that it is the Collingwood Stand in Collingwood Games, It is certainly, by far, very good seating.

I always love ground level, and never really decided to sit up the top, but it is a whole different aspect of how you view the game. As a kid, you loved sitting at the top as you were slightly disinterested (all agree on that?). As you get older, bit disappointing sitting top level, but it is great for a spectator view as you can actually see the match-ups better, and see the formation of the forward line from close to bidseye view, and then you can go, good set up, and you can pretty much predict what is going to happen.

As for the Ponsford itself. Seating has bigger leg room (ahhh) and you can see the scoreboard no worries (unless your under it!)

Anyway, there is my opinion on the Ponsford (Collingwood) Stand.
