Okay so I haven't been through the other 17 lists, but we are now down to only 6 players who haven't debuted.
This year we have debuted Lucas Camporeale, Will White, Matt Carroll, Harry O'Farrell, Hudson O'Keeffe.
We starred with 11 yet to debut, added one in SSP, and added another during the MSD.
The players yet to debut are:
Harry Lemmey - 3rd year player - signs of playing senior football
Billy Wilson - 2nd year player - very close to playing senior football
Rob Monahan - 2nd year international rookie - nowhere near playing senior football
Jagga Smith - injured 1st year player - would have played if not injured
Matt Duffy - 1st year international rookie - nowhere near playing senior football
Ben Camporeale - 1st year player - very close to playing senior football
Harry Charleson - 1st year rookie - a long way from playing senior football
Flynn Young - 1st year MSD rookie - expected to be close to playing senior football
In terms of rewarding VFL form, the club has done very well this year. The only question now is how many of these inexperienced players can fit into the senior side at the same time, while still maintaining an appropriate level of experience and physicality.
Jaxon Binns got a taste last year and a taste this year, but we can't really argue he deserves to be in ahead of anyone else there. Same with Ashton Moir. Cooper Lord got his taste and is working towards becoming an automatic selection
It would make sense for young players to come out so that those close to selection can get a taste. None are 100% entrenched in the side, so we can't be too surprised if it happens. We are basically just reacting to injuries now, and switching out type for type.
