There are flights and 8 night packages to Thailand for under 900 bucks to be had right now.
Bali is cheap, but really, why would you?
Fiji, Vegas, Disneyland, all good places to be considering our September is now free.
And if you can't do it in 2016, I'll guarantee '17 & '18 will be free as well!

You obviously hang around in Kuta? Bali (Seminyak) is fantastic and clearly a better option that Gold Coast bogan central?? Having said that Europe in September is marvellous!
