Was no offence to Mayne but IMO just believe there is a significant difference bn the top 4 and the rest - Mayne fot into the next category for sure and they defeated Maroochy easily in the bog as well so no doubt alot better than them too. Fighting it out for 5th position anyway - so saying this the Roos have played the top 4 of the top 5 sides!!

Who is it top 4 smy? I agree re mayne picked one of against surfers in a slop. If they played each other again now u would think a different scenario

Well Mayne only lost to Grange by 9 points too was that in a slop too? I'm not saying we will beat the big 3 in coming weeks PBC, Magpies and Noosa nor am i getting carried away with our wins so far, but I pray for our efforts we snag a win against those teams.
Win against Surfers was good being away from home against a quality side, I would say Mayne contributed to Surfers playing badly. Their wins against Maroochy and Springwood, we were made to earn it by those 2 sides and to demolish a side by 220 points we a huge 4 qtr effort to finish off the game with a 14 goal last qtr, if you remember we were the ones receiving those type of beltings in past years.
So Mayne have come along way since past seasons, they probably won't win against the big guns, but I guarantee you they will be trying there hearts out to do so. After what everybody with the club has gone through and efforts put in over past years, they all deserve a lot of good fortune. Go Tigers here's to a successful year.

Yep these are my tips. Good to see NEAFL clubs Southport and Broadbeach releasing players to help out Cooly. (Obvoiusly gives blokes they want a run as well) Won't change the winner but may help avoid a 200 point loss.

It's good to see, but its only 3 players and 1 of them from Southport played last week for Cooly so I hope they don't get done badly again. Surfers coach is a bit wary as Cooly cost them a spot in the finals last year.

Congrats to Maroochy! In regards Cooly forfeiting is that true? even if its their reserves?
saw the maggies and noosa game today. i thought the maggies were pretty good.
yep. you gotta do everything you can to make sure you don't forfeit, mates, mates of mates, bus driver, whoever you can on the field.

Thought noosa would have got up! Maggie's had a couple out but clearly depth is not a concern. Both sides had their best players all get votes! Hard to gauge by the record but did the Maggie's do it comfortably in the end?

PBC/Mayne match of the round would be a long time since Mayne was involved in one of these,Maybe 2005 awesome. I pray its a repeat of their 2009 encounter at Salk Oval where Mayne upset the then grand finalists PBC by a goal!

they lead all day and they took control of the contest late in the third. noosa made a late comeback to get with in 10 points with about 3 or 4 to go. but the magpies ran out winners
Wow! very very good squad for Brett (coach) to select from, if he manages to get all players from this list that he wants to play, i'm very confident this side will destroy up north.
What was the league thinking by not offering the weekend off for this game? The QLD squad represented well 2 years ago and would be great to see them go further.
Interleague games are all about representing your league (and with pride) to aid in increasing the recognition of the standard and talent that the league holds. Does the league not see this? I think too many players many high quality players may opt to play with home clubs either becuase of financial gain or importance of that particular game for the club.

Same tips for me. Your right TigerG, should be a cracker between Palmy and Mayne. A palmy win would see them hit top spot if percentage is there and Mayne would love to hang on to their spot in the 5.
