Was in Brisvegas today and ran into someone who is close to one of our players and all this talk about McGuane is more than just talk.

He also said that with Setanta wanting out of Carlton it is likely that he would be involved in a three way swap involving Setanta coming to the tigers, Luke to Brissy, and Colyer to Carlton.

Apparently Setanta is good mates with the two Irish boys at the tigers and as he is the Irish recruit that has been in the system the longest at present he would be a great mentor for our two lads.

The plusses i see is his enthusiasm , you just have to watch him when he kicks a goal.

He can play multiple positions and be a back up ruckman or KPF.

I see that as a positive and the person i spoke with is very close to one of our players.

I would be ok to swap him for Graham, although I'd probably trade Graham for almost anyone

Gus still has another 2 years to go.

Think he is a better backman, Setanta. But would be disappointed if he was getting a regular game unless he improved a lot. Which is unlikely

Remember the night before the PSD when we picked up Cousins and a bunch of supporters went to the club protesting that we should get him. I reckon we should seriously consider arranging the same thing if this rumour develops any further.
