Whats Mordy's ground like at the moment ? Heard it was poo only 2 to 3 weeks ago...Can anyone give us an update .:D

Interested to know who makes the decision to allow Mordy's ground to be played on? it really is garbage at the moment and i dont think it will be any better when finals come around so whats the option for the Sfl for finals. Obviously Springy but there would have to be a few other grounds now up for selection. :D

I saw Mordy's ground on Saturday and i feel sorry for them to have to play there the council has really screwed them there!

also popped in and saw the Sunday clash EB made st pauls look very second rate! if EB can be injury free will be very hard to knock off grand final day!!

Mordy ground can not have any finals played there this year, as it is not up to standard. So where are they going to be played ?

EB outplayed us from the start.

Without trying to make excuses we were missing a few, along with a couple of early injuries making things hard.

EB were without Williamson which was also big for them.

Good physical contest all day, make for good watching for those who turned up to have a look.

Ahh, the old 'we've got a few out this week' excuse.

And that's all it is - an excuse. Most every week, each team has players missing. But what it boils down to is that each week, you have 22 in your jumper and the opposition has 22 in theirs and you are judged on the result of those two groups of 22, not a '22 + a couple of blokes who are at a wedding and another that did a hammy last week'.

If you lost yesterday it wasn't because of who wasn't on the field, it was because those on it didn't score as many goals and points as the opposition.

Noticed De Bleecourt from Sandy was playing for St.Pauls. Out of interest who were St.Pauls missing.

If all sides are close to full strength should be a cracking finals series as the top 2 from previous years have been clear cut, whereas this year anyone in the top 5 could win.

Thanks, short and succint, you should try it!

What, and make it easier for you to understand what is being said? Nah, I like the fact you can't comprehend decent literature.

You kicked 7.15 or so, and that would explain a fair bit, but having watched you previously, when you refuse to accept there is such a thing as a 'middle' of the ground and go around the fences, many of your shots at goal will come from an angle, and on some days, and I'd suggest the windy ones mainly (what were the conditions Saturday, remind me), you will find the team kicks inaccurately.

Of course you won't post because you don't want to say what went wrong in case someone reads it and uses it against you in coming weeks. I like your cloak and dagger efforts - so 1950's. I'll at least voice my opinion on gameplans. You won't.

And that's why my posts are longer, and more interesting than yours.

Too bad you didnt bother posting when CH were beaten by both St Pauls and East Brighton. You like to have a crack at other clubs but never at your own.

A bit soft really!!! At least Chelt beat City, something that your mob is struggling to do. You should get down and give Flacky a chop out!!!

I did say in my post that EB outplayed us. No argument from me regarding the 22 on the field being beaten.

We were without T.McIntyre, Ambrose, Kremborg (TAC), Heagney Stewart (TAC), Kenton Hall, Ryan Smith, Taranto, Knox..............all of which are in our starting 18 when full strength.

Plus had a few players that got injured early in the game and had limited game time.

McGlede, it's safe to say, if you have players out, it affects the level of quality of your team, which ultimately has a direct result on the scoreboard.

Take nothing away from EB's win, they were good. But a stronger St Pauls side would have made it closer.

In fact, looking back in round 1 EB had some players out, and we beat them convincingly. It just happened in reverse this weekend.

Thats my point, obviously its a known fact that its not up to standard so why are they playing on it all of a sudden? Surely someone from the Sfl should head down there and at least have a look at the condition of the ground before you start getting some serious injuries from the uneven surface. I will stick my neck out here and say it makes Black rocks ground look like the G.
And on the other subject on here, its never acceptable for a spectator to jump the fence no matter what. And the trainer should get his ass kicked.

Would? Very sure of yourself there. I'd suggest 'could' or 'may' would be more appropriate, not should. You've no proof that the margin would have been closer, or the result different.

And on the flip-side, had EB been at full strength, the margin may have been greater.

I am very sure of it because it WOULD have been the case.

It's my opinion,

EB were far to good and should have won by more. They didn't have there best team in at all, with over 3 out and one of them being the best player in the comp.
So see you next time when it counts:D:D

I do hope that all sides have there best 22 fit for the finals, as it is going to be very even between the top 4.But in saying that, I do think EB have the best team.

So no more talk about ????? as they have all been taken down, which is a good thing. It did get a lot of people viewing, over 1,000 views in 24 hours

I saw that, at least it got some interest back into this site.

The Peoples Champion Mcglede is shattered!

Is it rumour or fact that both Parkdale and Keysborough have applied to join the SFL in 2012?
