edwards has a tendency to kick grubbers...i think that his pace is his best asset, but as ive said befpre i dont necessarily believe in players being too "short" or "skinny" to play afl footy.
there are just too many examples of exceptions to this opinion i:e: Rodan, Betts, Garlett, Varcoe, jack.
even though he is a long way off from being elite and more than likely probably not get there i to had him on a similar tier to collins
hmm i dont think him quick. certainly not slow either.betts garlett varcoe rodan all have superior pace and are all better kicks imo.
i too think theres a place for smalls if they can bring something outstanding to the table.
to be a skinny small in the game you must some outstanding attributes to survive imo.i dont think edwards does.
in his favour he can run all day he is elusive and smart in tight which buys him time, ive been impressed with this this yr. when he can buy time he usually makes the right decision and uses okay.
his lack of size leaves him vulnerable and when denied space he struggles. his skills break down regularly under pressure just my opinion.
i too had him on a similar tier to collins. in fact atm i rated him in front of collins but think in time collins will be the better player.
