Interesting to see that the selectors chose Shane Watson to tour South Africa, do you think he should have been picked to go?

Yes, he's done an excellent job for Tassie in the Pura Cup and in the ING Cup, and considering that the person most likely to have taken that spot , Brad Williams, is out injured. then he should've been the next in line according to form.

But, I reckon that Katich, Campbell and Elliott have been unlucky not to have been selected, and should play some games in South Africa and Zimbabwe.

Watson should have picked for the ODI along with Lehmann to replace Harvey or M Waugh. ie. the all-rounder that the Aussies should blood for next year's world cup.
