These trios were all drafted under the father-son and some( including myself) are uncertain whether drafting all of them was a great idea.
But screw what I think I want your view. Which group of brothers do you see being the greatest servants for the club.
A reason would be great

The only Clokes / Shaw decision that was wrong IMO was drafting Heath Shaw because it forced us to give up 2nd round pick to get both him and Brayden in the same draft (which has apparently changed back to 3rd and 4th round picks). But right now Heath is slightly more advanced than Brayden so it oculd turn out all right. Heres my view on the drafting of the players:
Jason Cloke - it wasn't good at pick 19 but Jason is a servicable player and is good for depth, and is still capable of something. Remember he was very important in 2002 (don't go giving me that "oh but he played loose" crap because playing loose also takes skill).
Cameron Cloke - Was worth the 3rd round pick (was tipped to be the worse of the Clokes though). Is showing some good signs battling galantlly out of position. Remember he has only played 10 games.
Travis Cloke - is looking the goods.

Rhyce Shaw - was tipped to be 1st round pick. Had a very crap first few years and played a good year in 2003 of the half back flank. 2004 he dropped off a fair bit but showed some potential as a tagger. Is showing some great signs this year.

Brayden Shaw - Was also tipped to be a first round pick and was the captain of Vic Metro. Played well for willy in his first year but didn't show any outstanding attributes. Had a poor first game or two so has been poor this year but can hopefully bounce back. I think he will be a player for us still.

Heath Shaw - This kid is a bit of mystery. Is a bit incosistant but has been closer to callups than the other players at Willy. The only problem is we had to give up a 2nd round pick to get him and Brayden. Heath would probably have been availble at a later pick anyway.

As far as who is better, I'd say the Clokes so far. R.Shaw has been around for a while and is only just starting to come right. C.CLoke has a spot in the side and Travis and Jason are pushing for slection more so than Heath and Brayden.
Although as far as potential goes Brayden and Travis are the best of the bunch.

Collingwood may find themselves in trouble in the next couple of years with this type of recruiting
WRONG! Giving up Stevens for NOTHING, and then Josh Carr for a handful of magic beans is what gets sides into trouble. What a backflip, what happened to Port only giving up quality players for quality players. As for Jabso's assessments of the Cloke and Shaws its spot on. Rhyce, Brayden, and Travis were all at the time of their drafting considered first round picks. Cam, Jason and Heath were all taken a fraction early so it evens out. Bottom line if they weren't on our list they would be on somebody else's. Still early days for most of them, it's a big jump from tac to afl so give them a bit of time.

This is a good one.

Let's compare 3 smalls with 3 talls.

Um... some are small and some are tall

Point is...thank you for taking them

No Doubt -
The Cloke's, Trav has a bright future, Cam has improved, Jason has shown he is a great player, needs to get back into some form.

Shaw's - Rhyce has improved but isn't a star, while Brayden and Heath might have potential, but we haven't seen the ability.

If Brett Ebert was a father son selection at Collingwood and performed exactly the same he has at Port he would be bagged the same amount as the Shaws/Clokes.

Yeah....I guess, but Ebert has only himself, wheras Clokes and Shaws have each other, and there is probably more expectation from all 3 rather than the 1. Brett Ebert has been inconsistent, but still played better footy than other small forwards going around. 21 goals in 20 games is okay, and his career will only get better, unless a Jason Cloke happens to him  , the potential and expectation were shown in the early years to then become close to a nothing.

Brett Ebert has been shown more than any of the Clokes/Shaws but still as I say he would be heavily scrutinised as a Collingwood player if he played the same he has at Port. I'm not criticising Ebert btw, I think he is going to be a great player, but if he was at Collingwood he would be considered the most overated inconsistant forward in the game.
