Is Sheeds up to his usual BS or is he serious?

I just heard a clip of Sheedy saying that we need to take an experienced line up to Adelaide and that it was unlikely there would be any one making their debut.

If Davey doesn't play then it's a disgrace.

Then again it's possibly just Sheedy being Sheedy.

Didn't he say just a few day's ago that we might have 3 players debut? Davey, Houli and possibly Jetta. Davey to me seems a no-brainer to play.

Davey will play no doubt. especially coming from adelaide last year aswell. he is a cert.

Davey surely would have to play. The forward line pressure that he has brought with his close down speed is immeasurable, and playing a side like Adelaide who like to run it out of defence, he would seem to be ideally suited. Surely Sheeds is just playing his usual games. Come on, he was wearing a freakin Kimono last week.

Maybe Sheeds is just trying to protect the new guys. Taking them over to Adelaide for a 15 goal hiding might knock the stuffing out of them for the rest of the year. He is probably going to unleash them in a home game where they can lose by a respectable 4-5 goal margin and maintain some confidence in their own abilities for the remainder of 2007.

In all honesty there is only Davey and one of Houli and Jetta in the mix so there wasnt going to be any huge numbers of young rookies playing. Davey will play with the other young blokes unlikely at this stage.

We're not that experienced a side to start with.

We're already going to be taking guys like Stanton, Watson, Monfries, Winderlich, Lovett, and likely Dyson, Ryder, Bradley, Johns and Slattery aswell.

Davey will debut anyway.

Jetta done some nice things but not enough, Houli hasn't done enough yet. Only because they've been in the system for less than six months

Davey must play, he adds alot of extra pace to the side, he is a tackling machine and knows where the goals are.
