any chance of anyone at the carlton football club lay a shephard or block? i was at the game today and its amazing how collingwood look after each other and play as a team. they dont care about getting the possesions. all they want is to look after each other. i didnt see us do any of that! is it players fault or coaches fault, for not drilling that crap into there heads. until we start shepherding and blocking for eachother we will never be a good side!

Great point.

Today we saw an above average team, but not an overtly skilled or brilliant team, annihilate the Blues on account of greater all round teamwork. They work each stoppage to advantage and win any contest where they can.

Compare it to us who seem to rely on brilliance rather than planning. Is it marturity or coaching; im not sure. But the Pies are the pinnacle of teamwork and we're a bunch of also-rans, notwithstanding some very good players.

Don't single a player out. Every player was just as guilty as each other. They all had opportunities where they should have provided a shepherd or a block and didn't. That includes our captain.
