Should Cousins get a lower number? I think he deserved a lower one that what he got for 2010, but what do you guys think?

If a player has done his number proud he should want to keep it.

Bartlett is renowned for 29

Cloke had 33 and I think kept it at the scum.

Weightman went from 43 to 3

I think it has to be in the forties for it to be conidered a number that is too large for the players profile. Obviously Justin Madden didnt agree.

:confused:SERIOUSLY guys, does the number on your back really make you play better football or make you a better player than someone with a higher or lower number????

A totally overrated concept.

I switched junior clubs for various circumstances four times and played for three senior clubs over roughly 20 years of football.

In that time I wore numbers 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 10, 11, 15, 17, 22, 26, 30, 34, 38 and 47.

Like it mattered!!!

How did I know you were going to say that without reading your post:rolleyes:.

No 32 is fine, he won't be here for much longer and I think the new guys will get higher numbers in '11.

agreed, perhaps if he was 25yo...has 12mths, possibly another year, all depends on fitness and form, here's to him jumping out of the blocks to start 2010:thumbsu:

Think we might find that Cuz put on 32 providing respect to his mate Embley who wears 32 for WCE

naaa goldie, but by the looks of things and looking at the formguide on you, wearing a million and one different numbers over the stretch, most certainly leads you into a career on BF, instead of one in the top comp.
Anyway apart from that, and back to the topic, the 32 has to much marketing hinging on it to move it off the cuz's back now. And to cut to the chase, who ****ing cares what number he is wearing as long as he is carving it up and that number is on a yellow and black jumper.;)

Number 32 is pretty cool. Sorry, but Tivendale at his best was bloody unreal and will not cop any suggestion that a rookie like he was didn't have a fine career and possessed one of the best left legs seen at Punt Road in the last decade.

#32 did OK for Tim Watson too.

If we lowered it then it might send a msg of an elevated importance - those lower numbers are being kept for the future of the club, not that I think Cuz is about to fade

Maybe then you could share some light on why:

South Mildura wear Geelong jumpers & call themselves the Bulldogs &

Wentworth wear Bulldogs jumpers & call themselves the Kangaroos :)
