Well, it just proves the point that there's no advantage to having a member elected board over a directly appointed one.Collingwood,Brisbane and Geelong are also, how are they travelling ?

It's wild that the only plum F&S West Coast has produced is is Jake Waterman and he took some time to develop, plus find a spot given West Coasts prior KPF.daicos, Ashcrofts and Cotton-Ons are far more effective than elected boards.

And McIntosh.Cousins
As an end-of-first round pick, I think all such picks (assistance, compensation etc) are assigned in reverse ladder order, so our assistance pick would come before any end-of-first round compensation picks (I may well be wrong as often happens). As it stands what will notionally be pick 19 will push out to pick 24 due to band 1 and 2 FA compensation picks
The WAFC has placed a limit on the number of AFL listed players that can play in anyone game for West Coast and Peel.Because Peel has a reserves side it is less impactful on them . As a stand alone we definitely could do with extra rookie picks permanent
They don't even travel to Geelong. But what about Collingwood, they have to travel as well!!!

And if I recall correctly, he wasn't even taken under the father son rule. Nominated, but as I recall there was no bid?And McIntosh.
(Although were both based on WAFL games)

You mention the clubs trading top picks away but nothing about the clubs getting those picks in returnSo who can we actually trade up with now?
Gold Coast are going for Petracca and Curnow so will they even have picks left to move up?
Saints offering up their first in a deal for Flanders so they are out.
Hawks will use their pick for Merrett
Carlton is a potential option due to Dean. However if Curnow goes they are more likely to trade up themselves and get a high pick in before Dean than back down the order.
Swans will want to get a pick in before King so unlikely theyāll trade back
Maybe Dogs but they are going hard for Wilkie so youād imagine their first will be involved in that if successful.
I think weāll have quite a few clubs coming hard for pick 2 but it might be difficult to package up our later picks and move up to a top 10 pick.
What ever happened to Nathan Ablett?
Didn't he just ride off into the sunset after the '07 premiership?
Same thing that lead to GAJ going to GC. Didn't want the pressure and insanity of being an Ablett (especially not a great one like Snr and Jnr), while living in Geelong. What ever happened to Nathan Ablett?
