Could anyone give an update on how he is going with the injury?

Injury list has him at 2 weeks, has been training with the main group for about last 3 weeks or so building up his fitness.

So I assume he will play wafl in the next two or three weeks...

Buddy Franklin played there so why wouldn't Shuey? To be honest though I struggle to see who's spot he'd take in an already powerful Dowerin midfield.

I'd say its just a high level of amateur football close enough to Perth for him to warrant playing. Those amateur football leagues such as SWFL and the one North East of Perth (forget its name) have player salary's totalling almost the same as WAFL clubs.

Whats the chances of Shuey slotting into the team towards the end of the season? Cockie might start to tire in a few weeks and Shuey could replace him easily to play a few games. Or is it more likely that Shuey wont play for the whole year?

doubt that will be a factor. i reckon we will see shuey play a game or two this year mabye around round 16/17
