My buddy has been transferred from Claremont to Perth in the WAFL to give him more opportunity to prove himself at league level. This could be just what was needed considering the strength of Claremonts team and now he can hopefully get on the end of some of Bolly's bullets into the forwardline or prove his worth down back in a struggling team if they decide to play him there.

Hopefully they are just getting experience into him around the ground by putting him into defense. He is exciting as a Stay-at-home full forward.

Gets to build up some chemistry with Joel Houghton as well.

We all follow this guy with interest. He could be anything. That is a wide ranging anything. He is a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma. (To continue the theme of another thread going.)

Not a cop out, but I genuinely believe Claremont would be the strongest side outside of the AFL.

No room forward, no room back.

Really think they'd beat Richmond.

Good to see him given a go at another club, will watch him on Saturday and report back.

Good news is the Perth game is on ABC this week too. Finally be able to watch my buddy in action.

^^^ He's hardly been setting the world on fire but he does seem to have the knack of kicking a couple of goals from limited possessions (Houghton). Would be great to get Sibo in the backline, Bolly on a wing & Houghton down forward all in the 1's. Play them on the same side of the ground and get them linking up.

Interesting seeing that Houghton can't get out of the ressies.

I suspect it's just Jarman trying to get Houghton to play the style he wants him to, the same as he did with Smith (from the Eagles) last year. Hell, I'd have Houghton in there before McDougall!

Anyway, good move by Prior to orchestrate this move.:thumbsu: Look forward to seeing him on Saturday.

Shows how Raw he is but also shows the club really need him to show something before the end of the season otherwise he could be in a bit of strife. Interesting to read the WAFL write-ups on the club site, whenever they speak of him you can see they think he has got something but he just has to work hard and find it.

From seeing him play a few reserves games he could definitely be anything... Uses the ball really well, just lacks fitness and a real physical presence... both of which can be easily developed over time i think.

Couldnt Claremont and Dockers see this before the season? Claremont having some many tall options.

Stuff the draft system, Dockers and Eagles should decide each year where their players end up playing.

Have to agree. Claremont also took Silvagni this year, yet another tall player. Now they are whinging that it is disappointing Sibo has been moved on?? Stiff shit.

I think Peel will be kicking themselves because they had first choice and took Barlow, thinking he'd probably step in and dominate like it was VFL and win the Sandover. Little did they know ...

Actually they were going to take Barlow or Silvagni, so would have been out of luck either way as it turns out

They can be developed, if he has the application to do so, and for AFL level that sort of mental application has to be elite. I'm far from convinced, but, given his background, he's the sort that needs to be given more time.

Not sure how long Freo will hang around waiting for him though, but unless there's some real list management issues (and given the butchered drafts coming up) he may be safe for another season or so.

What do you mean given his background?

Talls do take time to develop and God we need young developing talls. Keep Sibo for next year, which will give him 3 yrs on a rookie list. Hopeful he can perform to a level where he can be promoted to the main list.

He is worth a risk on the rookie list, low risk at that and with a BIG result if he cames good.
