Next week, this week doesn't matter.

Side by side, we all head into battle AGAIN, against the enemy, we rest our throats as the players rest their bodies, stick the frig by them and don't even think for a second that we can't win, because the players are going to need the same confidence we all had in them this week to get by, this next week will make victory sweeter, working for it harder and that cup will be ours, I am sure of it. I love these players, every single one of them, and I'll stand by them next week as I did this week, blink away the tears of frustration, forget about cursing the missed chances to really take the game away from them, but it will be ours next week.

SIDE BY SIDE, till we die, Collingwood is a family, and we stick together, no matter what. Believe in something and it will happen, destiny always come through but it just wasn't our time, this week.

It IS next week.

I credit the way Presti came out of the side. Just heard the story and that was big of him. Grand final. Possibly his last.

And then the way Nathan Brown plays for him is exceptional. Really did Presti proud and for mine beat Riewoldt.



Both showed the spitit you would hope for in a grand final. Whoever of the pair who misses next week will be very unlucky, but both have handled the grand final admirably.



Nathan Brown with Presti getting selected before him handled himself wonderfully, then when he came into the side played a big game. Then Presti with the way he did the team thing and decided not to play.



Both toast worthy performances. The pair of them have showed class.

I'd go as far as to say they are the epitome of Side by Side.

Great post LBG, I was confident all week, and I'm not changing now.

As the great Mick Malthouse said "at least we are healthy".

I'll be there next week (once they actually tell me how to get a ticket) and I will not be backing down all week.

We should organise a BigFooty meeting at one of the training sessions this week, it would be good to get together before the "2nd" big one.
