Side help

Hi guys, I'm in a fantasy footy game using footy fanatic. My problem is my back half. These are the players I have available and I' trying to get the right balance. Any comments about why you'd play who where would be appreciated. I've pick up a few handy backs but have trade away some guys to strengthen other departments.

At the moment, my set up is :

B: Sam Fisher (StK), Robert Haddril (Freo), Scott Thornton(Freo)

HB: James Walker (Freo), Cam Mooney (Gee), Heath Black (Freo)

other players available to move back are :

Shane Parker
Antoni Grover
Jordan McMahon (WB)
Quinten Lynch (WCE)
Steve Dodd
Roger Hayden
Michael Johnson
Troy Cook

I don't have have McPharlin, Polak, the Carrs and Longmuir available. These guys were trade to get Sam Mitchell, Joel Corey, Brad Miller, Lance Franklin, Aaron Davey and Cam Mooney etc.

You could look at swapping Walker with Thornton; and you could do worse than picking up any of Parker (first choice - one of the most under-rated defenders / players in the comp), Grover (HBF) or Hayden (BP).

It really depends on the competition. If it's fully stats based, and weighted towards possessions and goals, then forget about Haddrill, Parker, Fisher even Mooney. Just go for all half back, running possession winners. But I don't know your game, so can't give any real advice other than we hope Haddrill and Hayden come back well from injury, other than that, look at their stats and make up your own mind.

Thanks guys, it's not stats related (it's Fantasy Footy - a simulator that plays the game for you). So, it is all on match ups like you'd really pick a side. So players like Haddril and Parker are great because they can play on your opposition key forwards. I've just recruited Luke Penny now, too (traded away Sam Fisher to Penny and Corrie). What this has done is it's freed up Haddril to move around. Penny would play on the big guys like Brown and Richo and Haddril would be free in a pocket or possiby to CHB. Has Haddril played at CHB. And where would you guys play Parker if I put him in? Cheers.
