If Ottens stays with Richmond, he will be playing at full forward. Stafford can not play ruck all the time and Ray Hall isnt good enough. Should we try and get Simmons, or trade Zantuck to melbourne for Jolly?

Get Simmons to rotate with Otto as ruck/forward keep Zantuck as powerful midfielder with cogs and Newman in there too.

I definitely want to see a ruckman drafted this year, if Ottens stays I don't know if we need Simmonds or Jolly, a lot will depend on how healthy Stafford is going to be.

we could do with another ruckman, stafford who knows how long he can go, but if this season is any indication, father time is cathcing him up.

Reported tonite that Simmonds wants a FOUR year deal from Fremantle to stay, whilst Freo are only offering THREE. Also said that Richmond and North are leading the charge for his services.
I want Simmonds ahead of Jolly but not on a 4 year deal.
However the report sounded like he only wants 4 years from Freo but would look at a lesser contract in his home state of Vic.

oh the sweet irony. freo tried to lure gaspar into the psd to take him from us for free and failed. would laugh so hard if we succesfully do it with simmonds.
Jolly or simmons? can't be we get both?

Simmonds we must chase preferably over Jolly as Simmonds can play forward aswell as Ruck. A 26 yo on a 4 year contract "not paying an Ottens type contract" ok maybe 4 years is a bit rich but oh well atleast he is secured to our list for that period of time.
we cant loose if we lure him into the pre-season draft or a direct trade with Zantuck
