Toast Simon Black and Brett Kirk Appreciation Thread

Great to see, both champions of the game, with a noble gesture of jumper swapping. Shows that both players have high respect for each other and, I seriously hope that Simon Black plays on for the Lions.

And I hope that the Swans give Kirk one hell of a go in the finals in his last chance at a premiership, even if, I don't think we'll win it.

Both are champions of the game, that deserve a lot of respect. .

Kirky has often said that Black is his favourite and toughest opponent to play on so it's great that they did the jumper swap. I reckon it would have meant a hell of a lot to Kirky.

Black seems to have quite a good relationship with Swans players in general. I remember at Brownlow night, either last year or the year before, Black came over and hung with Goodes and they shared a few brews and a few laughs. Looked like they were getting on like a house on fire!

Awesome gesture by both players,almost bought a tear to an Old Mans eye..almost makes you think that Aussie Rules is a game for the everyday person & not some Corporate plaything..

Seeing this put such a big smile on my face not that we'd just won a comfortable game it was the amount of respect shown between the two was just great. Kirk and Black are right up there for the two most respected players in the competition.
