Why doesn't Robbie Campbell play back and bring in Tails to ruck with Spida. He has proven he can also kick goals which seems to be an area we are struggling in at the moment. Geelong plays three talls, Richmond plays three talls why not?

Richmonds experiment with Greg Stafford is not working.
Geelong seem to work well with King and Ottens. I can't think of thier third tall unless you mean Playfair?
I think our combination of Spider and Campbell works well for the most part. We could possible bring in Tayls but he's not as mobile as Big Max. Meaning that if Tayls came in you would probably prefer Spider to push forward and have Tayls and Campbell alternatating in the ruck which means we would then be robbing peter to pay paul as our midfield would drop a bit without Spiders delivery.
In any case i'd much rather have Big Max come in and play forward as he would be a more mobile and long term option than taylor atm.
I don't think campbell is suited to the backline.
just my opinion.

Is there any reason why Taylor hasn't been getting a game this year yet? He got quite a few last year.

That said, my one memory of him last year will alway be that embarassing failed bounce that they played over and over (unfortunately)....

Last year our ruck stocks were Spida, Bob, Tails and Dawson! Will Bob injured all year there wasnt many options.

He was in the rehab group on Monday but then again a lot of the team were. Trained with skills group Wednesday so he's putting in, just not getting the chances.

Thanks Fella's, gives me a good insight as I live in the West and have to put up with the bias garbage delivered via the media here. Though I take at least one trip a year to Melbourne to catch the Brown and Gold running around and this year I was at the "G" watching us beat the Bummers....Great Day......Great Win.......GO HAWKS!!!!!!

I haven't seen too much of the kid, but could he not be a useful tall option for us this season if he is getting squeezed out of the ruck? We're not the biggest side in the forward line, and a Croad/Williams/tall combination up front could be a good mix...

Any thoughts?
