I love the simpsons watch them every night and have 3 series on dvd. Does anyone get sick of watching the same epodoes.

Nope. I have series 1-5 on DVD and never get sick of them. The first season was not that great, but the rest are worth watching over and over again. The new ones are not as amusing too me.

Don't enjoy the halloween episodes or the "revisits" episodes but I think the semi-old episodes are the best. New ones are crap

- The storylines are rubbish "The Simpsons get deported to France" ?? what??
- Only humour is from Homer being stupid which is getting tired very quickly
- Shock humour works for Family Guy, not The Simpsons
- The need for a celebrity every week? Why?

The show has almost become a parody of what it once was and it's embarrasing to watch.

I'm with you Leo, the older eps are timeless classics whilst the newer ones are there for a good w*nk. Reminds me of the X-files towards the end.

Im starting to get sick of the new ones aswell they have run out of ideas. I still do enjoy watching the older eps but i doesnt make me laugh as much as Seinfeld does.

Series 1-4 were good. Series 5-7 were when the Simpsons were at its best. 8-10, possibly 11 were very good too. However the episodes from about series 13+, are just simply terrible. Actually the new Simpsons episodes are one of the last shows I will watch. Firstly because in my opinion it is devstating to think about what has happening to the show that used to be so great. The new episodes are just not funny at all, everything that was great about the Simpsons has been lost. They try to force humour, and the results are terrible. The storylines are absoulute trash, and I don't get many laughs at all from the characters any more. Overall a great show which should have stopped many seasons ago.

I dont know what seasons these are but i reckon 1995-1999 were awesome.. Around that time they were peaking for me..

The Family Guy should be shown as well. They both are hilarious shows.
