when it says standing area do you acutally have to stand there all game or like to people bring their deck chairs or like lie down and have a picnic (like at the cricket at adelaide oval)

stand and its packed to the **** house. And if your catching the train, its best to go to South Geelong not Geelong. South Geelong is heaps closer.

is general admition just standing area of if i get there early enough can i get a seat? when i say early i mean early enough to watch the whole sandy vs geelong curtain raiser match

i dont know what general admission means cos im a member but i think it means standing cos normally you have to buy a seat as well. It aint matter how early you get there you cant just grab a seat. Although Im sure there will be some for sale once your there.

well i bought general admition tickets online

https://ticketing.ticketmaster.com....et=purchasepage.asp&event_id=13003889D3AD7023

on that site click on venue info

theres a big pink section on the right

i was thinking that might be standing area

i really cant be ****ed standing for the whole game

it would be a ****in stupid stadium if general admition gets ya nothing but a patch of grass

at the MCG general admition is half the great southern stand basically

It won't be so crowded that you can't sit and watch pretty much the whole of the curtain raiser, but you'll be sitting on a concrete step. Bring a cushion or somethig and you'll be right.

does standing area/general admition mean a concrete step ?

also i anna watch the actual match, i only said i'd get there at 10:30 roughly if i had to in order to get a real seat

does standing area/general admition mean a concrete step ? like is there any chance of getting a proper seat if i get there super early

also i anna watch the actual match, i only said i'd get there at 10:30 roughly if i had to in order to get a real seat

Then don't come.

I hate opposing fans whose team don't own their own ground come on here and have the audacity to ridicule SS.

Just wait until the redevelopment is finished, but even then you clowns will still probably call it crappy.

sorri mate i think ya took my lil crappy joke a bit to serioiusly

actually i dont mind the whole standing area idea but i'd prefer a seat

it will be something new to me

I personally like the concrete steps. I hate having to push past people to get to a seat and then you have no where to put your clobber. It'll only get crowded in the standing areas 10 minutes or so before the match, if you go to the right spots.

Don't worry about them Catman. It's funny they mention that they've never been to SS,yet Melbourne play here nearly every year.

Has the bandwagon picked up a passenger ? ;)

ive been a member and supporter for my entire life so dont say i just jump on board when our team is going well

if all your supporters were like that then you would have noone on your bandwagon

An effort should really be made to make Skilled Stadium hostile to enemy supporters to really get that home vibe going especially this year when there arent many spaces for them.
