hey, i was just curious to know whats going on with Colin slyvia? havent heard him in any sandy games, is he still injured with the ostetis pubis? heard brock had a great game, great to see, cant wait to watch him play in the seniors

Colin played 3 qtrs at Sandringham today. He's apparently over his OP but is lacking match fitness.

At this rate he'll play Sandy seniors in a couple of weeks, and make his MFC debut in about Rd 11-12.

Sylvia is coming along nicely in his recovery. A half in the Sandy 2's a couple of weeks ago, 3 quarters last week, he should be having a full game this week and then pressing for Sandy 1's the week after.

Was ok in the Sandy reserves but will probably need to play better & be 100% fit before he can expect to break into the Sandy seniors. He kicked a goal from the centre circle apparently & that's a good sign.

Chad Liddell was named in the Reserves best & Col wasn't, so you'd have him replacing McLean in the Seniors this week I'd reckon.

He's only playing in the 3rds to regain fitness, Sandringham pick their own team & can't afford to have half fit blokes running around can they? Even Sandy's skipper Chad Liddel has been playing in the reserves to regain fitness, Sandy have games to win & are picking their strongest team available each week.

It's Dale Carson actually. He's a tall key position/back up ruckman, they take time to develop. He played some Sandy firsts last season after good performances in the two's.

Look at Aaron Rogers, he played plenty of Sandringham reserves footy last season & this week he's in Sydney's seniors. We're lucky that Sandy have such a strong team & that every spot is earned.

Another Dees rookie Joel Campbell is playing in the reserves with Sylvia, Carson & Liddel too, tough nut to crack the Sandy seniors & I wouldn't have it any other way.

I haven't seen Campbell play so can't comment on him.

From what I've seen of Carson I give him no chance of ever making it onto our senior list and predict he will be delisted at the end of the season.

Yes, delisted from our senior list and drafted in the rookie draft last year so he is now on our rookie list.

I believe Molan is around four weeks away from resuming and Ryan Ferguson, our forgotten man it seems is around one or two weeks but won't play too much in the seniors for at least 5-6 weeks. He'll eventually replace either Holland or Nicho though. In fact maybe next year or year after Molan and Fergs in for the above said.
