We're watching the game on TV over here in Adelaide and before the game they went to the players change rooms and one of the players was having a smoke! I couldn't believe what I was seeing... Does anybody know who it was? Thoughts?

Fevola's a smoker too but he's a forward so maybe he can get away with it. For a midfield prospect to be a smoker is a disgrace.

One smoke to settle the nerves should not have much of an impact, providing you're super fit and not a regular smoker. How many times in the 70's have smoked at half time and yet still play very well and dominate?

I couldn't care less if he wants to have a smoke before the game providing it doesn't have a negative impact on his performance. But... I do have a problem if the media are going to show it and little kids will be influenced. Still, I don't know how Dennis allows that to go on.
You sure it wasn't a nicorete or asthma inhailer, ect....?

So when our club says "we're doing everything possible" to get into the finals, giving themselves a chance of winning a flag etc, we can now say "no you aren't".
You have to give yourself every possible chance and if players are smoking I don't believe they're true to themselves and their club.

durring the last 2 pre seasons Ive seen matty richardson out and he alway seemed to be asking people for a smoke, funny that a player on 500k cant even afford his own pack.
